Relay for Life: Team Memories

Camp site #38, Team Memories sets up a Birthday Party Theme to commemorate cancer survivors. A memorial banner is placed on the side of their tent with team members with names of family and friends who have suffered, survived, and are still undergoing cancer. Cancer survivor and team member Carolyn Enos (Left), paints a pink ribbon on Sawna Silva who is also a team member of Team Memories. By having the Birthday theme as their them for their tent, baskets full of gifts are displayed. Making the Birthday festivities more whimsical, a clown decorated with lollipops are staged by their tent to give out to relay participants. Team Captain, Morgan Cobbs is helping a child participant play a game of "Pinko" Volunteers prepare for the luminary ceremonies for relay participants.

Courtney Needham counts her beads which represents the number of miles she has walked during the event. Outside their camp ground contain the luminary lanterns of the cancer survivors.
Hundreds of luminary lanterns are lined across the field in preparation for the luminary ceremony. Luminary lanterns glow as lights dim from the Relay for Life event.
